Significant Savings for American Homeowners
The new economic stimulus package signed into law on February 17, 2009 includes
a tax credit for homeowners of up to 30% of the cost, or a maximum of $1500, on
qualifying replacement windows and doors for tax years 2009-2010.
All VPI Quality Windows that are manufactured with Sunclean/Solarban70XL
double strength glass with Argon Gas fill or Solarban70XL double strength glass
with Argon Gas fill meet the U-Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC)
requirement for the Energy Tax Credit. Qualifying windows and doors must have
a U-Factor rating of 0.30 or lower, and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC of
0.30 or lower).

To qualify and receive your tax credit, simply:
Purchase qualifying VPI windows and doors for your principal residence. (Save
your purchase receipt and VPI NFRC Report that comes with every VPI window
& door order.) View Official Manufacturer’s Certificate
Install your qualifying VPI windows and doors between February 18, 2009
and December 31, 2010.
Claim the tax credit associated with your qualifying purchase on your federal
filing for the 2009 and/or 2010 tax year. IRS tax form 5695 (2009 version) will
be available for this purpose late 2009 or early 2010.
